Day whatever it is in Colorado. Found lavosh cracker during my first Denver grocery experience; reasoned this place is beyond perfect. It's a city with suburbs and it's manageable. Not at all like the Ninth Level of Los Angeles. My contempt for that city proves boundless.

My life is a laundry pile.

My life is so weird right now.

People continue to die, and I still don't know how to react. Another student was hit by a train this weekend, and he was a Western student, and all my friends are Western students. There's an orange-glowing light standing high across the street. Immediately surrounding it you can see the rain in the aurora, coming down still, but weaker than before. The leaves of the oak in front of our porch reflect the same orange light, and the street shines. But it's dark. Real dark, all around.
